“Perched House, Gloucester”

Another lovely day brought to mind when I see this painting. Arriving at Stage Fort Park early, I was taken with the shapes and colors provided by this interesting house on the harbor. Since I determined the light would be better later in the day, I had the too infrequent luxury to just be inactive and quietly enjoy nature for some hours. Then I did this painting out on the rocks, getting into that "flow" that's increasingly available to me now when I paint or play piano.
