“Little Julie”

I painted this portrait from a photo my Dad took of me at the beach when I was around five years old. I see in this little character joy, mischeivousness, and, in the set of the jaw, a great deal of determination. I feel great affection for this little one that was me. It was a real joy to do this painting.
